POOCH TO PERFORM AT DENVER’S
FAMOUS 1920's-era ORIENTAL THEATER

California-Born and -Bred Entertainer Spreading Unique Brand of Comedy Eastward

(DENVER, CO, October 9, 2008) The unique, positive, eccentric, California-born and -bred comedic entertainer named Pooch is proud to announce today that he will be performing tonight at Denver’s beautiful, historic The Oriental Theater in the culturally vibrant Tennyson Arts & Business district.  He will be in “The Great Black Fight” show with Denver comedians Dick Black and Brent the Great.  The doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show begins at 9:00 p.m.

“I'm honored to be part of this show here in Denver at this landmark theater,” said Pooch. “In performing my West Coast California Gangster Comedy show, I'm representing for California and there aren’t many comics doing that.  And people out here are really nice and receptive to great comedy.  Who knows, maybe I’ll move here?”

The Oriental Theater is located at 4435 West 44th Ave., Denver, CO, 80212 (303-455-2124).

ABOUT POOCH

A smart and cool comedy writer and performer, Pooch is one of the most entertaining, undiscovered and unrepresented talents working today’s comedy scene.  He is already known to thousands of comedy fans worldwide after years of performing at international youth hostels in Hollywood and Las Vegas.  A longtime mainstay of the Southern California comedy scene, the eccentric entertainer is one of the industry’s rising talents due largely to his high-energy show’s emphasis on unique and original California culture-based material, audience participation, song-and-dance, props, and the positive vibe he exudes in his show.  In 2007, Pooch was one of only 30 performers selected – out of hundreds of comedians – to be a participant in the 32nd Annual San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition.
